Physical Demand Analysis:

Physical Demand Analysis is the foundation of any post-offer/pre-hire, return-to-work or task specific FCE functional testing protocol. A properly conducted Physical Demand Analysis documents the physical demands of a job as it currently exists, without quantifying or implying ergonomic risk. Our proprietary  web based software system, Infocus Work Applications,  captures still images from video clips and creates visual documentation of the essential functions and physical demands associated with the job.  Each of the 70 physical demands which is quantified has been defined through peer reviewed literature and government publications from North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. These are not definitions we have made up, but rather definitions defined by the experts in the field from around the world. Without documented definitions, the physical demand analysis lacks validity and reliability and is difficult to defend if legally challenged.
