Physical Demand v Risk Analysis:
Let Me Clear Up Some Confusion....
Physical demand analysis and ergonomic risk analysis use the same data from the job site but the data is presented very differently. Ergonomic risk analysis quantifies the risk of musculoskeletal injury. Physical demand analysis quantifies the physical demands of a job without quantifying the risk. Physical demand analysis are used for return-to-work, ADA compliance, hiring purposes.
